State Bank of India conducts an examination of SBI PO to select the candidates for the position of Probationary Officer in different branches, which provides an opportunity for young graduates and the ones who are experienced to accelerate career growth. Online registration for this examination is very easy and can be understood by following these simple steps:
1. The first thing that the aspirant should be ready with to fill the form is the scanned copy of the photograph and the signature with a size between 20KB to 50KB for the photograph and 10KB to 20KB for the signature.
2. Now visit the Official Website and from the category named “Current Openings”, open the online application form.
3. Fill the form carefully as the data entered should be correct else the candidate might face problems in the future. If the candidate is not able to fill the form completely then he/she should not worry. The portal gives an option to save the entered data and will provide you with a provisional registration number and password. The candidate has to note down the credentials carefully to login to the dashboard again. After entering the data completely and checking it thoroughly press the submit button keeping in mind that no further editing will be allowed.

NOTE: The candidates should keep in mind that the reopening of the application form to edit BEFORE submitting the form is only available for THREE times; after that the aspirant has to fill the form again.

4. Pay the application fees for which payment options like debit card, credit card, net banking, etc. are available.
5. After the successful payment of the fees, the portal will generate an e-receipt and an application form. The aspirant should take a print out of the same to avoid future problems and to keep a record. If the payment is not successful the candidate has to fill the form again.

NOTE: The candidates can re-print the application form and the e-receipt later on. Stay updated with notification released, which will be sent via SMS and e-mail. The aspirants are also supposed to download the call letter and a booklet named “acquaint yourself” from the bank’s website for which you will have to provide the Registration Number and the password (Date of Birth) as SBI won’t provide any hard copy for the same.
